Eurosteril® sterilization pouches are safe, hygienic and easy to use in the sealing process, keeping items sterile for up to 6 months in suitable conditions. Heat-sealable pouches made of white medical paper with high grammage (60g/m2) and double layer of blue polyethylene/polypropylene film, in compliance with MDR (EU) 2017/745 and EN 868-5. Three uniform, waterproof side channel seals for maximum microbial protection. Equipped with chemical indicators for steam or EO gas (ethylene oxide) sterilization. Optimum peelability without the release of paper fibres or tears to the film when opening the packaging. Consisting of a 60 g/m2 medical paper side and a polyethylene/ polypropylene laminate film layer, they comply with MDR (EU) 2017/745 and EN 868-5. They provide an excellent antimicrobial barrier and, thanks to chemical colour indicators, they change colour, signalling at a glance that sterilization has taken place.
